Job Summary
Buckhead Meat of Houston is hiring 8 Production Workers for a short-term project. This role involves processing fresh-cut food products, operating production equipment, packaging orders, and working in a refrigerated food production environment. Candidates must be comfortable with physical labor, cold temperatures, overtime, and standing for extended periods.

Schedule
- Monday Friday
- 3:00 PM 12:30 AM
- Regular overtime expected until production is complete
- Possible Saturday shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Process fresh-cut food orders for shipment
- Cut, portion, tumble, pack, and palletize products
- Operate production machinery and use knives safely
- Package products according to quality and delivery standards
- Maintain staging areas and raw product storage areas
- Remove empty boxes and trash to maintain cleanliness
- Follow all safety procedures and report incidents immediately
- Assist with additional production duties as assigned
Work Environment
- Refrigerated facility ( 38 F cold environment)
- Wet and cold conditions
- Repetitive production work

Physical Requirements
- Lift 15 60 lbs
- Stand for extended periods
- Perform repetitive motions throughout shift
- Comfortable working in cold temperatures
Required PPE
Candidate must provide on Day 1:
- Steel-toe or composite-toe boots (above ankle)

Preferred Qualifications
- 2 3 years of manufacturing, warehouse, food production, or production experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to safety and quality
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime
- Team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Industrial equipment certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification through Safety Manager)
