Job Summary:
Seeking a Production Associate to support operations in a cold meat processing facility. This role involves assisting with packaging, material movement, and general production tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Move meat carts between production and packing areas
- Pack fish fillets into branded boxes
- Assist meat cutters with daily production tasks
- Support general production and assembly activities
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and staging zones
- Remove empty boxes, waste, and debris
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Report incidents or unsafe conditions promptly
- Assist in various areas of the production floor as needed
Required Skills:
- 0 3 years of production or warehouse experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working in cold environments (~32 F)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Team-oriented with strong attention to safety
- Basic communication and coordination skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in food processing or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with production floor operations
Tools/Environment:
- Cold storage/meat processing facility (beef or poultry rooms)
- Work involves assisting machine operators and handling materials
- Steel-toe boots required; dress in layers for cold conditions
- Factory setting with strict safety and sanitation standards
