- End Time: Production completion
- Extended hours and overtime may be required based on production needs
Job Summary:
The Production Associate I supports daily operations in a meat processing facility by packing, palletizing, staging products, and assisting with production processes. This role requires working in a cold manufacturing environment while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:
- Pack and palletize finished products
- Stage products for shipping or further processing
- Assist with production machinery and machine operations
- Support meat production and processing activities
- Maintain cleanliness of production areas and raw product storage rooms
- Remove empty boxes, trash, and debris from work areas
- Follow all safety and food safety procedures
- Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately
- Work collaboratively with the production team
- Perform all duties safely and efficiently
Required Skills:
- Ability to work in a cold production environment for extended periods
- Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, and work long shifts
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Steel toe or composite toe boots required on Day 1
Preferred Skills:
- 0 2 years of manufacturing or production experience
