Production Associate

Description:

Production Associates are responsible for supporting and maintaining daily production requirements in their assigned department. 

Duties:

• Perform set-up and finishing work including construction of packaging materials, disposal of scrap, and product labeling.
• Monitor parts counts in each box or container to ensure accuracy.
• Operate equipment with little or no assistance after receiving proper training.
• Maintain a rapid pace in packing extruded parts into boxes or crates.
• Assist with quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Work in a safe manner, report safety risks, and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members and perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Able to understand written and verbal instructions effectively.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Basic general math skills for counting and measuring.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
