Production Associate - Laundry Operations

Position Overview

Looking for steady weekly hours in an essential, team-oriented production environment? Join our team in Cudahy as a Production Associate! This position offers entry-level training, consistent day-to-afternoon shifts, and an active workplace where your daily contributions support vital regional healthcare facilities.

Saturday Hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (36 hours per week)

What you will do

• Operate automated folding machinery by picking up dry linens and continuously feeding items into specialized finishing machines.
• Inspect linen quality to identify and separate items with tears, stains, holes, or excessive wear to uphold strict healthcare standards.
• Transport linen inventory across the plant floor using heavy-duty rolling carts and staging bins.
• Maintain safety and output targets by keeping work areas clean, logging basic batch data on computers/printers, and collaborating with your team lead.

What we are looking for

• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours), lift up to 40 lbs, push/pull rolling carts up to 800 lbs, and perform repetitive bending and twisting motions.
• Basic computer and printer navigation skills to track production items, with the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and stay past scheduled shift times when high-volume production needs arise.
• Strong punctuality, sharp visual attention to detail for quality checks, and a positive, team-first attitude.

Workplace: This is a 100% onsite role inside an active, fast-paced commercial laundry and production plant. The role requires continuous standing, physical motion, and close teamwork with a diverse production crew.

Contract Terms: This is a temporary/contract engagement focused on immediate operational support; standard corporate health benefits and paid time off are not provided during the initial contract duration.
