Production Associate - Laundry Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our laundry operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for feeding dry linens into automatic folding machines, conducting quality inspections, and keeping production moving efficiently. This is a great, steady Monday-through-Friday schedule with daily overtime opportunities!

Shift/Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Plus up to 1 hour of daily overtime as needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up dry linens and continuously feed them into various automated dry fold machines following standard procedures.
• Visually inspect every piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and excessive wear to maintain high quality standards.
• Manually load, lift, and maneuver linen carts to keep production stations fully stocked.
• Use a basic computer and printer system to track daily production inventory or labels.

Important Employment Note: This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to stand comfortably on your feet for up to 10 hours a day.
• Ability to push and pull wheeled linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs.
• Ability to consistently lift bundles weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Continuous bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the shift.

Dress Code & Safety Requirements

• Footwear: Strictly NO open-toe shoes, Crocs, sandals, or slides. Fully closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
• Attire: Comfortable, casual clothing is acceptable (shorts and t-shirts are allowed).

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and reliability with a track record of meeting daily production targets.
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, highly repetitive physical environment.
• Basic computer literacy to operate standard printers/terminal screens.
