Job Summary


We are seeking dependable and motivated Production Associates to join our team in the Petri Dish Production and Tube Processing departments. In this role, you will support the production, packaging, labeling, and quality inspection of laboratory media products, including petri dishes and tubes. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment with opportunities for career growth and advancement.


Key Responsibilities


+ Produce and package media used for petri dishes.

+ Sort, package, label, and palletize tubes according to production requirements.

+ Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.

+ Follow established packaging procedures and accurately complete production documentation.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

+ Adhere to all safety, quality, and production procedures.

+ Perform repetitive lifting, twisting, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 30 pounds.

+ Use basic math skills and calculators to complete production-related tasks.

+ Remain standing and actively working throughout the duration of the shift.


Required Qualifications


+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.

+ Ability to speak, read, and write basic English.

+ Comfortable working in a production or manufacturing environment.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

+ Good hand dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Experience


+ Experience in production, packaging, manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environments.

+ Familiarity with quality inspection processes.

+ General labor experience in a fast-paced setting.


Work Environment


+ Climate-controlled manufacturing facility.

+ Certain work areas may be noisy; hearing protection is provided.

+ Employees may work independently or as part of a small team.

+ Required personal protective equipment includes:

+ Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes

+ Hair nets

+ Safety glasses

+ Surgical masks

+ Casual dress permitted, including jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, or scrubs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
