The Production Associate performs a variety of manufacturing and production support activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely production of WillowWood products. This role is expected to work in multiple production areas as assigned, supporting changing business needs while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Perform production, assembly, finishing, packaging, inspection, material handling, and other manufacturing tasks as assigned.
Safely operate equipment, machinery, and hand tools following established procedures.
Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality requirements to produce products that meet company standards.
Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process and identify quality concerns.
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety and housekeeping standards.
Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility.
Assist with changeovers, setup, cleaning, and general production support activities.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals and customer demand.
Cross-train and rotate between departments, workstations, and production processes based on operational needs.
Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to learn multiple manufacturing processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and flexibility to work in different production areas.
Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
Frequently bend, squat, reach, twist, and kneel.
Ability to visually inspect products for quality defects.
Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, adhesives, resins, and other production materials.
Required use of PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and any additional equipment required by the work area.
Overtime, weekends, and assignment to different production areas may be required based on business needs.
