Job Title: Production Associate

Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $18.25/hr on W2 (Including all benefits)
Shift: Mon-Fri 6:30am-2:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing light secondary work such as cleaning & washing parts, deburring, buffing, TFE and simple machining. Responsible for ensuring these processes are executed efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
" Work under the general direction of the department supervisor with a minimum of supervision.
" Perform light secondary deburring, washing, cleaning, grinding and straightening of parts.
" Perform drilling, cutting, tapping, buffing, press work and simple machining.
" Run machinery following all processes and procedures, including soap/detergent usage, coating mixtures, oven temperatures, cure times, waste cleanup and more.
" Transfer material and parts from one location to another, including loading parts into machinery properly.
" Work from blueprints and other technical documents.
" Check finished items for quality.
" Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
" Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
" Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Includes removal of any foreign matter.
" Report defective material, any unusual condition or circumstance to supervisor.
" Follow standard practices and procedures as outlined by company policy.
" Perform all other duties as directed or required.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
" High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
" One to three years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
" Must have reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small parts.
" Ability to read blueprints and measuring equipment such as: micrometers and calipers preferred
ADDITIONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
" This position works as both an individual contributor and in a team environment
" This position required the ability to lift 25-55 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.
" This position may require standing and/or sitting for long periods of time, up to 8-10 hours per day
" This position requires good manually dexterity and visual acuity
" This position may be exposed to various industrial cleaning chemicals and oils
