We are seeking Production Associates to join our client’s team in West Union, SC. In this role, you will perform a variety of assembly operations on assemblies and sub-assemblies, including wiring, component installation, and cable harnessing. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. You will follow established work instructions, operate various equipment, and make setups and adjustments while maintaining blueprint specifications and required tolerances. Responsibilities
Operate various assembly equipment and machinery throughout the plant.
Perform assembly operations on components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
Complete wiring, component installation, and cable harnessing as required.
Follow work instructions and established procedures accurately.
Set up and adjust equipment while maintaining required blueprint specifications and tolerances.
Demonstrate flexibility by operating equipment in different assigned areas of the plant.
Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals, deadlines, and quality standards.
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
Employees are expected to follow all applicable safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities, new responsibilities, procedures, and challenges.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of assigned duties, products, and processes and develops technical skills as needed.
Takes accountability for work, prioritizes tasks, overcomes obstacles, and works toward challenging production goals.
Works well with others, meets team responsibilities and deadlines, shares knowledge, supports coworkers, and contributes to a positive team environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions.
Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing/production environment.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate small and medium-sized components.
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
Ability to lift or exert force of up to 50 pounds.
All candidates are required to wear Electrostatic Discharge safety shoes.
Shift & Pay Information
A-Shift: Sunday-Thursday 8:00 PM-6:30 AM $18.75/Hour
