We are hiring a Production Associate – Painting & Finishing to apply paint and coatings to rubber components in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for painting parts according to work instructions, inspecting finished products for quality, performing touch-ups as needed, and preparing components for the next stage of production.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to perform repetitive hands-on tasks while maintaining consistent quality and productivity. Previous manufacturing or painting experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Apply paint and coatings to rubber components according to work instructions and quality specifications.
Use appropriate painting methods and equipment to achieve consistent coverage and finish.
Inspect finished parts for paint coverage, color consistency, and defects.
Perform touch-ups and rework on parts that do not meet quality standards.
Prepare, handle, and organize components before and after painting.
Follow written and verbal instructions to complete production orders accurately.
Maintain daily production goals while ensuring product quality.
Identify and report defective parts or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Required Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a production team.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Previous industrial painting, manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for 10 or more hours during scheduled shifts, as applicable.
Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
Ability to bend, reach, and move parts throughout the workday.
Ability to handle components and maintain consistent painting accuracy.
Comfort working in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE.
Work Schedule and Compensation
Hourly Pay: $17.00.
Monday–Wednesday: 5:30 AM–5:00 PM.
Thursday: 5:30 AM–12:00 PM.
Employment Type: Full-Time.
Work Environment: Manufacturing facility specializing in rubber components, painting, finishing, and quality inspection.
