Production Associate / Picker Packer

Position Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Production Associate / Picker Packer to join our team on the 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM). In this role, you will be on the front lines of warehouse operations-using handheld technology to accurately pick items, package orders with care, assemble product bundles, and ensure outbound shipments meet high quality standards for fast and reliable delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking & Packaging
Use handheld RF scanners and warehouse management software (WMS) to accurately locate and pick items for customer orders.
Inspect items for quality and verify SKUs against pick lists to maintain high order accuracy standards.
Carefully box, bundle, and package products according to custom packaging instructions, applying shipping labels, dunnage, and promotional inserts.
Stage completed orders accurately for daily carrier pickups (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL).
Assembly & Kitting
Perform product kitting, custom bundling, and basic light assembly for specialized client inventory as required.
Label, barcode, and box individual items and master cartons during inventory receiving and prep.
Inventory & Warehouse Operations
Assist with receiving incoming freight, unloading shipments, and stowing products into designated bin locations.
Conduct periodic cycle counts and inventory audits using scanning technology.
Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient workstation in compliance with workplace safety standards.
Schedule & Pay
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Qualifications & Experience
Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1+ years in a 3PL, e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse, or production environment preferred (entry-level candidates with strong tech comfort are welcome to apply).
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using handheld barcode scanners, tablets, or warehouse software interfaces.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to alphanumeric SKUs, order notes, and packaging specifications.
Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and committed to working the required 2nd shift schedule.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and stretch throughout an 8-hour shift.
Ability to regularly lift and move boxes up to 40-50 lbs.
Good manual dexterity for packing, scanning, and labeling items efficiently.
