Production Associate

Position: Production Associate
Location: Gates, NY

Summary: Nesco Resource is partnered with a growing manufacturer in Gates, NY seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Associates to join their assembly team. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers candidates the chance to build long-term manufacturing experience while supporting quality-focused production operations. Associates will be responsible for assembling Paco Pad liners, inspecting finished products, and ensuring proper fit, alignment, and overall product quality. This role is ideal for individuals with strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to perform hands-on repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate:

• $17.00/Hour

Shift(s):

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Job Duties:

• Prepare materials and components needed for Paco Pad liner assembly
• Accurately place and align liners onto Paco Pads according to work instructions and specifications
• Inspect completed assemblies for defects, proper alignment, and overall quality
• Ensure finished products meet established appearance, performance, and quality standards
• Follow written and visual work instructions to maintain consistency and accuracy
• Count, sort, package, and label completed products as required
• Document production quantities and report quality concerns or defects to leadership
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in required safety training
• Support LEAN manufacturing practices and continuous improvement efforts
• Cross-train in additional production and assembly areas as needed

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills for counting, tracking, and production documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed
• Frequent use of hands for detailed assembly work
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 5 lbs.
• Strong close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
• Comfortable working in a moderate-noise manufacturing environment
• Ability to work safely around moving mechanical equipment
