Production Associate – Asphalt Sealer Manufacturing$22.00–$26.00/hr, depending on relevant experience, demonstrated aptitude, safety mindset, proven commitment to safe work practices, and overall qualifications.Build the Products That Protect America's PavementPMG SealMaster is an industry leader in pavement preservation products, manufacturing asphalt sealers and maintenance solutions used by contractors, municipalities, airports, and commercial customers across North America. We're looking for a hands-on Production Associate to join our Romulus manufacturing team.If your background includes batch production, industrial manufacturing, paint or coatings, adhesives, process manufacturing, concrete, asphalt, cement, or similar production environments, you'll likely find this role familiar. This isn't a warehouse position-it's a manufacturing role where you'll help produce quality products from raw materials while working alongside a small team that values safety, initiative, and craftsmanship.What You'll DoYou'll play an active role in the entire production process, from staging raw materials to producing finished product.Responsibilities include:Read and follow batch cards, production schedules, formulas, and work instructions.Measure, weigh, and add raw materials in the proper sequence using basic math and attention to detail.Operate mixers, tanks, pumps, hoses, valves, forklifts, and other production equipment.Transfer materials and finished product safely throughout the manufacturing process.Monitor product consistency and adhere to established quality standards throughout each batch.Complete production documentation accurately, including batch records and material usage.Stage raw materials and support inventory accuracy.Perform preventive maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and routine production housekeeping.Clean tanks, mixers, transfer equipment, and production areas to maintain safe and efficient operations.Support seasonal tank cleanouts, including confined-space work using appropriate PPE and pneumatic chipping tools to safely remove hardened material buildup.Work safely around industrial equipment while following all company safety procedures, including respirator, PPE, hot work, and confined-space requirements.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for team members who take pride in making a quality product and understand that consistency, accuracy, and safety matter every day.Successful candidates typically bring:Manufacturing or industrial production experience involving batching, blending, mixing, coatings, adhesives, asphalt, concrete, cement, or similar process manufacturing.Experience following batch cards, formulas, recipes, or production instructions.Strong math skills and attention to detail.A proven commitment to quality standards and safe work practices.Mechanical aptitude and the ability to recognize equipment or process issues.Initiative, dependability, strong time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Forklift experience is preferred but not required.Work EnvironmentThis is a hands-on manufacturing environment that is hot, dusty, dirty, sticky, and fast-paced. Team members spend their day working around industrial production equipment, moving materials, climbing ladders and platforms, and supporting every stage of the manufacturing process. During scheduled maintenance periods, team members also assist with equipment cleanouts and seasonal tank maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently.Physical RequirementsLift and move up to 50–75 pounds.Stand, walk, bend, climb, and work around production equipment throughout the shift.Safely operate around industrial machinery and moving equipment.Wear required PPE, including the ability to successfully complete respirator medical evaluations, fit testing, and training.Work in confined spaces and perform physically demanding tasks while following all established safety procedures.Why Join PMG SealMaster?At PMG SealMaster, our team members manufacture products that customers depend on every day.
