Johnson Service Group has an immediate need in Sanford, Maine for a Production Associate - Material Handler. This is scheduled to be a 2+ Month temporary assignment 40 + hours a week. This position requires regular lifting of 40 lbs. Shift 6:30am to 4:30 pm

Job Description:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Associate is responsible for operating the manufacturing equipment that manufactures product in the production line, and manual stacking of product. In addition, the Production Associate will be accountable for basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment runs efficiently.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manually operates and monitors assigned lines, bagging and palletizing equipment, materials, and finished product as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation.
Coordinates the movement of product from the production lines to the skids.
Manually stacks finished product onto pallets.
Examines product for quality and ensures all Food Safety Handling Procedures are followed.
Records daily logs of packages bags and wasted packaging material.
Inspects julian date/lot codes for accuracy and legibility.
Adopts a culture of cleanliness and safety in the work environment.

This position is available immediately and looking for someone who can start work right away.

Payrate is $20/Hr.
