Production Associate- Seasonal

Job Title: Production Associate- Seasonal Job Purpose: As a Production Associate- Seasonal, you will play a key role in our manufacturing process, contributing to the efficient and smooth production of goods. You will work as part of a team assembling and manufacturing products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time to our customers. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Reports To: Production Supervisor Location: Onsite- Monticello Location Department: Operations Classification: Non-exempt, Full Time- Seasonal, Operations Job Duties and Responsibilities: Adhere to company policies and maintain a high standard of work ethics. Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe work environment. Report any machine malfunctions, maintenance needs, quality concerns, or safety concerns to the supervisor. Work closely with team members to achieve production targets and ensure a cohesive and harmonious work environment. Effective communication is essential for success. Verify product is within quality specifications. Retrieve necessary product needed for task. Read and accurately interpret measurements using a tape measure. Read and interpret work orders. Performs other duties as required. Flatten cushion to quality specifications Zip product to quality specifications Apply Tags and Stickers to product Operate Packing Machines Make sure correct fiber is in the que Load fiber onto the machines Make sure correct skins are in the que Load skins on the skin racks Assemble and Fill boxes with product Operate Cut & Stuff Machine Operate Blown Fiber Machines Operate Manual / Auto Stuffer Machines Operate Sewing Accessory Machines Operate Sewing Machines (Top Stitch) Assist in Training Required Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience No prior experience necessary Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities In addition to formal training and a demonstrated ability to perform the tasks essential to the production associate position, outstanding employees will have the following additional knowledge, skills, and abilities: A positive team player who demonstrates the ability to solve problems on his or her own. Is the go-to person to answer questions from other team members or if she or he does not have the answers, understands how to seek out and find information and solutions The ability to solve routine issues using the resources readily available Working Conditions Environment This position works exclusively in a factory production floor environment with exposure to typical factory hazards such as loud noises, heat, and cold. Essential physical requirements This position works in a production capacity and will involve standing for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, and walking. Employees performing the tasks essential to this position will regularly be expected to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds. This position may require employees to work overtime, weekends, and nights depending on production needs.
