We are seeking a Production Assoicate Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a cold storage warehouse and food production environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience supervising teams in manufacturing, warehouse, food production, or similar environments. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for directing production activities, managing associates, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring production goals are met.
1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Environment: Refrigerated warehouse and production facility (38°F to -20°F)
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee daily production operations and ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately
- Lead, coordinate, and prioritize production activities based on operational needs
- Assign daily responsibilities and communicate expectations to production associates
- Monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance, and adherence to company policies
- Ensure safety, quality, and production standards are consistently met
- Conduct quality checks and address production issues, product failures, or process concerns
- Train, coach, and develop new and current employees on production procedures and expectations
- Provide direction and support to production associates throughout the shift
- Work closely with supervisors, leadership, and cross-functional teams to meet operational goals
- Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding production needs
- Complete and review production paperwork and documentation
- Identify and escalate operational, safety, quality, or personnel issues when necessary
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
- Support continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to improve production efficiency
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, warehouse, food production, or a similar environment
- Ability to work in cold storage environments between 38°F and -20°F
- Ability to lift 10-35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements
- Basic computer skills and ability to perform basic math calculations
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising a production or warehouse team
- Experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, cold storage, or production environments
- Experience using warehouse management systems or inventory software
- Familiarity with safety, quality assurance, and production procedures
- Experience training, coaching, and developing employees
