We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consulting Production Associate for a temporary contract role in our Manufacturing department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, where you will be responsible for providing expert advice, strategies, and solutions to optimize our production processes. You will be involved in various aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, process improvement, quality control, and cost reduction. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality, capacity, and efficiency.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
3. Evaluate current manufacturing processes and recommend changes to reduce costs and improve product quality.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of production plans and schedules to meet customer demands.
5. Conduct regular audits of production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
6. Provide technical support and training to production staff to improve operational efficiency.
7. Participate in project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring of project progress.
8. Develop and maintain documentation of production processes, procedures, and training materials.
9. Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
10. Participate in the evaluation and selection of manufacturing equipment and tools to improve production efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a consulting or production role.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and cost reduction techniques.
3. Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement process changes.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex production issues and develop effective solutions.
5. Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Proficient in the use of manufacturing software and tools, as well as standard office software like MS Office.
8. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and complete documentation.
9. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
