We are seeking dependable General Labor / Production Associates to support manufacturing operations. Employees will work directly on production lines where paper tubes are manufactured, processed, and cut to customer specifications. This is a hands-on production role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing output while developing valuable skills in a dynamic industrial setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and assist production machinery used in the manufacturing of paper tubes and cores.
- Load, unload, and handle production materials.
- Monitor production quality and ensure products meet specifications.
- Cut manufactured tubes to required lengths based on customer orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.
- Support team members and supervisors as needed to meet production goals.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 5:00AM - 1:30PM
Pay: $17/HR - $18/HR (Temp - Hire)
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
- Interview required for all candidates.
- Facility tours may be conducted during the interview process.
- Must provide a resume or detailed work history.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment.
- Strong attendance and punctuality are required.
- Steel-toe boots are required for both the interview and employment.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing and warehouse setting.
- Facility can become warm during summer months; fans are located throughout the warehouse and dock doors remain open to promote airflow.
- Employees are provided with water, Gatorade, and popsicles on the production floor.
- Machines use industrial glue as part of the production process. Because stopping production causes glue to dry and requires extensive cleaning before restarting, employees receive a 30-minute lunch period and do not take additional breaks during the shift.
