Production Associate TT Strap - 3rd Shift

Parker Lord's Dayton facility manufactures passive vibration mounts for commercial and military aerospace applications. Performs various manufacturing processes including but not limited to winder operation, patch, demold, inspection, and adhesive application functions within the TT Strap room to ensure components are produced to required quality standards at expected production levels.
Essential Job Functions
- Follows all manufacturing instructions and print requirements for the production of components in TT Strap
- Completes necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and the proper movement and control of product
- Completes all quality related inspection requirements
- Ensures all equipment and materials used to perform job functions are compliant to procedures
- Suggest and participate in the implementation of process improvements and scrap reduction activities
- Performs all required preventative maintenance activities
- Actively participates in LEAN projects and activities
- Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures
- Responsible for the proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste
- Attention to detail to observe quality defects
- Other assignments as required
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment required; 2 + years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork
- Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed
- Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required
- Understands and demonstrates comprehension of drawings, blueprints and Manufacturing Work Instructions
- High Mechanical aptitude, enjoys working with their hands.
- Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision
- Ability to carry/ lift up to 35 lbs multiple times per shift. Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment.
