Production Associate

Position Summary

The Hanson Group is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our Systems Production team. This role is responsible for safely and accurately producing specialty chemical products by following established standard operating procedures, maintaining quality standards, and supporting daily production activities. The ideal candidate has experience in chemical manufacturing or industrial production and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately process work orders in accordance with the daily production schedule.

Perform chemical blending operations while following established safety and quality procedures.

Operate production equipment, including drum mixers, ovens, pumps, hoses, pallet scales, and other auxiliary equipment.

Assist with unloading bulk tankers into storage tanks and totes.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.

Perform routine housekeeping and assist with general warehouse and production operations as needed.

Follow all safety, environmental, and quality control procedures to ensure product integrity and workplace safety.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing, industrial production, or related environment preferred.

Experience with chemical or pigment blending is a plus.

Forklift certification or the ability to become certified preferred.

Experience handling totes, drums, and other bulk materials.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing production priorities.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.

Strong written communication skills, including the ability to complete production documentation legibly.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.

Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 75 pounds.

Ability to safely operate production equipment and material handling equipment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse and manufacturing environment where employees are regularly exposed to industrial equipment, chemicals, and varying temperatures. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn, and all company safety policies must be followed.
