Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Yuma, AZ
Contract Duration: 8 Months
Shift Time: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM M-S


Position Summary:
We are searching for motivated Production Associates that will be part of our manufacturing plant team, working in the Glass Department. As a dedicated team member, our Production Associates are vital to the success of our business and operations. In your role with *** Innovations, you will ensure our products maintain the highest level of quality satisfaction our customers expect. What To Expect:
Have strong attention to detail to inspect glass/windows and equipment for quality and any defects.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment within assigned and surrounding workspace while ensuring to meet all safety standards and practices.
Load machines, pack product, pull items, prepare labels, and support projects as required.
Actively contribute and effectively communicate to the team.
Other duties as assigned, including housekeeping and cross-training to become proficient across multiple positions and production lines.

Production Associates in the Glass Department may perform a variety of roles, including:
Final Staging
Operates the 4th Corner Butyl applicator for the final step in building insulated glass (IG) panes.
Attention to detail is needed to make sure butyl is applied evenly to the completed glass pane, ensuring quality expectations are met.
Moves cart of completed panes to the staging area for window production.

Oven Catcher
Remove panes of insulated glass coming out of an industrial oven and place on a cart.
Position does require the wearing of special protective equipment, including long-sleeve Kevlar shirt, apron, and bump cap.
Attention to detail is key in the position, looking for imperfections or scratches in the glass coming out of the oven and moving the glass from oven to cart without damaging.

Grid Insert
Assemble grids to be added to window glass panes based on the style and color required by the work order.
Use various hand tools to cut, measure, and assemble all window grid components.
Have strong attention to detail to inspect windows and equipment for quality and any defects.

Glass Sorter
As the final step between the Glass Department and the Window Assembly, carts of window glass need to be sorted and placed on the correct line to ensure the operation runs efficiently.
Must be able to match corresponding cart numbers with work orders and assembly lines.

Cart Puller
Carts are on wheels and are moved by physically pushing throughout the plant.

Argon Operator
Runs machines that fill space between double or triple paned windows to improve energy efficiency of the windows and reduce heat transfer.

Backbedder
Utilize established systems to create seals between glass and frame for window assembly.

Washer Feeder
Loads single panes of glass into automated washing machine.
Ensure that glass is clean and free from any imperfections.

Quals--
What We re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience. Preferred experience of 1-2 years in a manufacturing / production environment
Proficiency in spoken and written English sufficient to
Read and understand safety procedures, hazard warnings, and equipment operating instructions.
Accurately complete production records, quality checklists, and incident reports in English.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
English proficiency is required for these tasks to comply with OSHA workplace safety standards and regulatory documentation requirements.
Ability to adapt in fast-paced environment and motivated to become well-versed within multiple areas of operations.
Strong attention detail and willingness to work independently or as part of a team and contribute to all areas of operations.
Understand how to collaborate with a variety of different people and roles.
Committed to cross-train, learn, and develop your skillset further.

Physical Requirements:
The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat.
Physical demands to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance, based on position, 80lbs-100lb with assistance.
Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location.
