Job Title: Production Operator

Job Summary:
The Production Operator is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. The role requires following standard operating procedures (SOPs), meeting production targets, and working collaboratively with the production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to company procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Record production data, including output, downtime, and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to improve production efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not always required.
• Ability to operate machinery safely.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg), if required.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
