Fully Onsite - Located near the Glenview, IL Area

Schedule: Friday-Monday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (4×10s)

Job Description

• We are seeking a hands-on Production Chemist to support multi-kilo scale chemical synthesis in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing or lab experience who wants to grow in API production.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical synthesis at production scale using batch records

• Follow GMP documentation standards (charges, transfers, observations)

• Operate and clean equipment:

• Reactors

• Centrifuges

• Filter and shelf dryers

• Milling equipment

• Stage and load raw materials; unload intermediates and final products

• Work cross-functionally with Engineering and R&D teams

• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements

Qualifications

Required

• Experience in GMP or regulated manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and execute batch records
• Experience with wet chemistry or compounding
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer, math, and mechanical skills

Preferred

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or food production
• Familiarity with API manufacturing, reactors, or centrifuges
• SAP or chromatography experience

• Production setting with moderate physical activity
• Use of respirator and PPE required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glenview, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
