This role starts at $21.00 per hour for entry-level candidates. We also consider experience when determining starting pay!

Hours: 7:00AM - 5:30PM Monday through Thursday / Fridays as needed

The Production Clerk position is responsible for warehouse and production administrative functions covering a combination of some or all of the following:

  • Maintain accurate production records & complete production confirmations/consumptions in SAP daily, including closing production orders

  • Assist with the cycle count process, complete cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies

  • Recording plant metrics and or key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Monitor and maintain min/max levels, reorder points, & safety stock levels for maintenance, safety & operating supplies.

  • Purchasing production and maintenance consumables in purchasing software

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Computer proficiency

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Experience with an ERP (SAP preferred) system

  • Experience with an MRO Purchasing system (Coupa preferred)

  • Strong math, measurement, and reading skills

  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environment

  • Abilities in prioritization, multi-tasking and problem solving while maintaining strong attention to detail

Essential Functions

  • Complete daily production confirmations (TECOs) in SAP for process orders. Investigate and or resolve consumption errors.

  • Prior to SAP job closure, review operator data entry to ensure accuracy of raw materials consumption and production cycle time (line events). Enter data in to SAP.

  • Troubleshoot operator SAP data entry errors, investigate barriers to job closure, etc

  • Print process orders, pick tickets and labels for production team

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels for operating, safety and maintenance supplies

  • Effectively utilize purchasing software (Coupa) to purchase non-BOM materials, maintain vendors and maintain accurate pricing

  • Own, manage and improve upon production CANBAN systems for inventory management

  • May assist with updating and maintaining production training records

  • Manage time and communication via Microsoft Outlook

  • Other duties as assigned
