About The Role

A Production Clerk coordinates activities within specific functional department. These functions include Shipping, Receiving, Production/Assembly, Inventory Control, and Maintenance. This working leader is an integral part of coordinating the daily success of the team as defined by the facility manager and standard KPI’s. A warehouse lead will train new employees, assign work, evaluate individual reports, and resolve daily tactical issues.

What You'll Do:

• Depending on functional responsibility, verify quality and quantity of orders and record any variances. Make sure goods are stored in designated area in warehouse again depending on the nature of the PO, SO, WO or transfer.
• Coordinate loading and unloading operations. Verify bill of lading, invoices and load sheet are completed
• Coordinate forklift and pallet jack operations
• Demonstrate and hold team accountable to safe work habits and use of PPE
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly operational area. Assist Operations Management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
• Train, coordinate and give feedback on the performance of assigned employees
• Coordinate daily counting, weighing, and identifying of parts meant for shipment, production or receipt
• Check parts against customer PO, SO, WO or transfer as needed
• Perform daily inspections of functional equipment and work areas
• Escalate necessary maintenance needs for equipment and facilities
• Other duties, as assigned

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Functional work experiences in the area to be led
• Calm demeanor and level head for trouble shooting and handling a variety of issues as they arise
• Ability to strictly carry out standard procedures
• Effective and professional demeanor when engaging customers
• Excellent organization skills and ability to inspire team cohesiveness
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple daily tasks
• Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Operation of a forklift
