Production Clerk (Kitting Department) Compensation

• $17.50 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service (on eligibility dates)

Production Clerk (Kitting Department) Highlights

• On-site position in Covington, GA (30014)
• Regular schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Production Clerk (Kitting Department) Responsibilities

• Utilize work orders for kitting operations to complete monthly schedule requirements (SAP)
• Pull components as required to complete orders
• Support manufacturing start-up of runs on the production floor
• Move released production runs to the finished goods warehouse
• Maintain inventory in component storage areas
• Pull and send component shipments to other facilities
• Return production-floor restocks to component storage areas
• Attend training sessions as directed
• Help train production operators as directed
• Maintain production tracking and production records / daily clerical functions

Production Clerk (Kitting Department) Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Basic computer skills and basic keyboarding proficiency
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate effectively one-on-one
• Ability to complete basic math calculations
• Ability to apply common sense, work with minimal supervision, and maintain accuracy/attention to detail
• Ability to lift/move up to 20 lbs and work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment (standing, reaching, moving around the facility)

Production Clerk (Kitting Department) Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
• Experience with inventory control / component handling
• Familiarity with SAP or work-order driven environments (nice to have)
• Experience operating material handling equipment (as applicable)
