Job Description:
This organization is a global supplier known for precision manufacturing, strong customer partnerships, and a fast-paced production environment supporting major OEM programs. The Production Control Administrator supports daily operations by coordinating production schedules, shipments, and system transactions to ensure materials and finished goods flow efficiently through the plant.

This role provides administrative and operational support to the Production Control team, requiring a strong understanding of plant operations and the ability to communicate real-time updates to leadership. The position plays a key role in maintaining schedule accuracy, resolving system or shipment issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage sales orders in the ERP system for outgoing shipments
  • Update production and shipping schedules based on customer releases and forecasts
  • Monitor trailer availability, returnable packaging, and product flow to meet customer demand
  • Support shipping documentation, including bills of lading and pick lists
  • Track and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across multiple departments
  • Troubleshoot EDI/ASN issues to ensure timely and accurate data exchange
  • Communicate production status updates and escalate issues as needed
  • Process repair orders and coordinate scheduling and shipment
  • Support supplier-related issues, including expedites and escalations
  • Analyze customer forecasts to support planning and inventory alignment
  • Assist with business planning activities and new program launches
