This role is responsible for assisting the Purchasing and Inventory Control Specialist, Production Supervisor and Production Scheduler in administrative tasks. The PCA is an essential part of the workflow from the office to the shop floor. The PCA demonstrates strong interpersonal skills in their communication with production personnel, sales, engineering and management. Essential Responsibilities: Print Job Travelers, related part drawings, and inspection reports at the Laser Operator's request.Close completed production jobs in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (Epicor).Schedule related jobs when rework or heat-treat-only parts are received, balancing customer-requested dock dates with manufacturing capacity as needed.Issue materials to jobs using the Material Log provided by the Laser Operator.Review operational completion records and make required adjustments.Prepare direct labor payroll information, circulate it for approval, and submit the finalized records.Support monthly and year-end inventory activities.Distribute timecards for approval and make required corrections in Epicor.
