Summary:
Production Associate 1 is responsible for the receipt, warehousing, supply to Production, and shipping of the MTEA material. They are to work safely, always maintaining the quality of the material. Production Associate 1 works to keep high inventory accuracy, as well as utilizes First In First Out (FIFO) method of controlling inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work safely at all times.
- Understand and follow work instructions.
- Practice and follow all Quality Assurance requirements (i.e., TS16949, IATF16949, ISO14001, etc.) & internal procedures.
- Complete department housekeeping and adhere to 5S standards.
- Contribute to teamwork environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities as assigned.
- Participate and complete all mandatory overtime including Saturday and Sunday, as scheduled.
- Pick/pack parts with high accuracy.
- Load/unload trucks.
- Recycle any/all items allowed.
- High accuracy/organization of paperwork/physical counts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by MTEA management.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand throughout the shift and overtime as assigned.
- Proficient in computers and RF scanning.
- Prefer ERP computer experience.
- Must have forklift experience.
