Overview:
The Production Control Clerk will compile and record a variety of production data such as use of material, quality control and other aspects of production.
Responsibilities:
- Compiles and records production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production
- Compiles essential information, such as production rates, materials used, inventories and other vital customer information, for the efficient completion of status reports
- Calculates financial figures, such as required amounts of materials and labor, wages and manufacturing costs, by using pricing schedules, business machines, calculators or computers
- Performs various production control activities including monitoring customer orders and posting production schedules
- Assist with generating work orders and keying production data
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
- One-year general work experience required
- Efficiency in typing, filing and delivering written and verbal communication strongly preferred
Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
