At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.We are presently seeking aProduction Control Coordinator that will support operations by coordinating material availability and ensuring timely workflow within the optics production enviornment.Main responsibilitiesProductionSchedulingAssist in creating and maintainingproductionschedules for optics manufacturing based on demand forecasts customer orders and inventory levels.Material CoordinationTrack and manage the availability of raw materials components and sub-assemblies required for opticsproduction. Work with procurement and warehouse teams to preventproductiondelays.Workflow ManagementMonitorproductionprogress on the shop floor identify bottlenecks and communicate with relevant teams to optimize throughput.Data Management and ReportingMaintain accurateproductiondata including order status inventory levels andproductionmetrics. Prepare dailyweekly reports for management review.Quality and Compliance SupportCollaborate with qualitycontrolteams to ensureproductioncomplies with specifications and regulatory standards. Assist in implementing corrective actions forproductionissues.Communication and CoordinationServe as a liaison betweenproduction engineering supply chain and quality departments to ensure smoothproductionflow and timely resolution of issues.Continuous ImprovementParticipate in process improvement initiatives to enhanceproductionefficiency reduce waste and improve product quality.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferredBasic knowledge of optics manufacturing processes and terminology is a plus.Experience withproductionscheduling inventory management and ERPMRP systems.Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.Benefits start day 1 Medical Dental Vision 401K Paid Time Off Holiday Pay PAID MaternityPaternity leave Tuition Reimbursement Long-term and Short-term disabilityPay Range 26.00-29.00 per hour depending on experience.Our facility in Boulder Coloradohas key functions in Research and Development Operations Production and other disciplines.
