Production Control Coordinator

LOCATION: Sherwood / Tualatin Area

SALARY: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience

SCHEDULE: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, on-site




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor open work orders in Epicor ERP daily and take immediate action on jobs at risk of missing due dates

  • Expedite jobs through the shop by coordinating with machinists, operators, and supervisors to prioritize critical work

  • Track and communicate job status to internal stakeholders, the planning team, and customers as needed

  • Coordinate with receiving, inspection, and purchasing to expedite incoming materials for hot jobs

  • Maintain and update job schedules in Epicor, adjusting sequences and priorities based on real-time shop floor conditions

  • Communicate customer delivery updates proactively, flagging delays early and providing revised commit dates

  • Perform regular shop floor walks to verify job status, gather completion updates, and identify bottlenecks

  • Handle all work in compliance with ITAR and export control regulations

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 3 years of expediting, scheduling, or production control experience in a manufacturing environment, precision machining or aerospace/defense preferred

  • Experience with ERP systems; Epicor experience a strong plus

  • Ability to read and interpret job travelers, routers, and work orders

  • Strong communication skills with comfort engaging directly with operators, supervisors, and customers

  • Must be a U.S. Person (citizen or lawful permanent resident) in compliance with ITAR regulations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position works in a factory setting and requires the ability to stand, sit, bend, and move about the facility. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
