Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to support inventory management, logistics, and material flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate inventory control, timely material availability, and efficient coordination of shipments across internal teams, vendors, and suppliers.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory accuracy, including receiving, storage, issuance, and cycle counting
  • Ensure compliance with FIFO practices and GMP standards in all material handling activities
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments (domestic and international) via carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and couriers
  • Track and expedite critical supplier shipments to support production timelines
  • Facilitate material movement between facilities and vendor locations using company vehicle
  • Maintain accurate receiving logs, inventory records, and material status reports
  • Partner cross-functionally to fulfill material requests and support production needs
  • Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies related to shipments and materials
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and material flow
  • Represent the company professionally during off-site deliveries and vendor interactions
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving or inventory control within a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of inventory management principles and ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to meet DOT requirements
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime/weekends as needed
  • Experience with international shipping (SED/EEI) is a plus
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
