Production Control Coordinator
Summary
Ensures production work is scheduled and delivered meeting on-time delivery expectations of both internal and External customers. Works with all departments to provide timely feedback on operations and issuing new requirements in a timely manner.
Primary Duties
Plan production control activities to improve efficiency while maintaining quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness through grouping of jobs to reduce setups. Work with operations to ensure timely flow of materials considering staffing and planned down times. Assure that all jobs are issued in support of customer lead times but not outside of the protected window of Rev control.
Work with the materials department to reduce inventory levels.
Optimize scheduling of manufacturing processes and resources.

Qualifications
Proven leadership skills
Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers
Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Strong computer skills (Microsoft office)
Experience with Epicor preferred
Ability to provide and report out on metrics
Requirements
Basic understanding of shop operations and planning process
Demonstrated proficiency with ERP and Excel software
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Ability to move through facility and up and down stairs
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Ability to visually see hard copy work orders and shipping documents
