A Day in This Role

You start your morning reviewing overnight inventory movements and raw material receipts, validating that on-hand balances match the plan. You adjust customer shipment plans based on the latest demand signals, sync with production to confirm build schedules, and align logistics so outbound commitments are met on time. Throughout the day, you partner with operations, the warehouse, and customer service to keep materials flowing and orders shipping without a hitch.

What You'll Drive

  • Translate customer demand into detailed production and shipment plans that protect on-time delivery.
  • Oversee raw material receiving and track material flow from dock to stock to line-side usage, ensuring accurate, real-time records.
  • Monitor inventory health, reconcile variances, and trigger replenishment in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Analyze production and inventory data to spot bottlenecks, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities across the supply chain.
  • Communicate plan changes quickly and clearly to internal teams (production, operations, warehouse, customer service) and external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, carriers).
  • Embed best practices in production control, inventory control, and logistics coordination to improve reliability and throughput.
  • Support forecasting and demand planning activities to balance capacity, materials, and customer requirements.
  • Build reports and presentations highlighting schedule adherence, fill rate, inventory accuracy, and other performance metrics.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Analytical, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving plant environment.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator across functions and with external partners.
  • Proficient with supply chain/production systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in production control or supply chain; automotive exposure is a plus.
