The Production Control Supervisor ensures that fabrication capacity hits external client and internal facility target dates.

Available Shift:
1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
Education and/or Skill Level Required:
2- or 4-year degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
Good understanding of production control systems.
Good communication skills and prior supervisory experience.
Good computer skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
Production Control
Coordinate Production Schedule with Customer Service Supervisor and Shift Supervisors
Organize material location
Determine material flow and ensure that manufacturing is working on the right product
Ensure that all paperwork is correctly processed through the computer and manual paperwork systems
Ensure raw material, WIP and finished goods inventory is accurate
Perform Cycle Counts
Lead DVM Meetings
Monitor Job Variance Report
Supervision
Responsible for ensuring that subordinate activities are carried out in an accurate and timely manner
Develop personnel and effectively utilize equipment to obtain the most economical results.
Personally investigate major production delays and initiate corrective action.
Discuss issues such as personnel problems and employee attitudes with the Plant Manager.
Work with Production Supervisors to ensure that they understand the responsibility and accountability for production results in terms of methods, quality, and efficiency of production.
Oversee the building to production schedules and meeting/beat delivery dates.
Work with Production Supervisors and/or Manufacturing Engineers to improve process
Safety
Responsible for maintaining the equipment and facility in safe and efficient working order.
Responsible for ensuring that all First Report of Injury and Accident Investigations are completed and followed up in a timely manner.
Responsible for participating in developing and implementing employee safety training.
General
Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing the computer system.
Develop a positive working relationship with manufacturing.
Develop enthusiasm and respect for the company with careful adherence to its policies and goals.
Perform diversified work assignments as the need arises.
