is currently seeking a Production Controller 2 for our client Northrop Grumman at location Hopkinton, Massachusetts, United States Onsite.
Job Description
The Production Controller will plan the completion of work orders and outside services for passive microwave components using an SAP MRP System, ensuring timely execution of production activities. Duties include updating the shipment plan with project status, WIP shortages, and potential production problems to ensure personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, to complete orders on-time and schedule expedite the movement of parts on the production floor.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office, capable of managing multiple priorities in a job shop environment, and able to lift 45 lbs to move product within the facility.
Skills and Experience
- Education
- Bachelors degree with 3 years of scheduling, material planning, manufacturing, or inventory experience
- OR High School Diploma with 5 years of related experience
- Required Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs and move product within the facility
- Job shop proficiency with ability to set priorities and meet production schedules
- Preferred Skills
