Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Production floor by coordinating workflows, tracking Work Orders, and ensuring efficient communication between departments. This role focuses on facilitating processes, maintaining quality standards, and assisting department leads in meeting production timelines. The coordinator helps monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure that all Work Orders move through Production accurately and efficiently.

Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Production floor by coordinating workflows, tracking Work Orders, and ensuring efficient communication between departments. This role focuses on facilitating processes, maintaining quality standards, and assisting department leads in meeting production timelines. The Coordinator helps monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure that all Work Orders move through Production accurately and efficiently.
Job Duties:
Coordinate the purchase of necessary materials with the Stock Room and Purchasing Department
Support daily operations of the Production floor by coordinating workflow and schedules
Assist in maintaining production quality standards across all departments
Conduct regular check-ins with departments to identify safety, efficiency, and workflow issues
Assist with job approval processes for rejected merchandise, when applicable
Ensure departments are following established quality standards and procedures
Stage jobs in the production system beginning in Preflight
Attend Production meetings and provide updates on current and open Work Orders
Maintain spreadsheets and documentation tracking Work Order status and production processes
Coordinate activities between production departments including purchasing, stockroom, shipping, receiving, and drivers
Help ensure adherence to scheduled timelines for all shipments
Prepare Daily Production Reports for review by the VP of Operations
Support compliance with security protocols for sensitive graphic projects
Communicate performance or workflow concerns to leadership; support documentation as needed
Assist with daily operational meetings and cross-department communication
Coordinate scheduling needs for upcoming shifts in collaboration with department leads
Support training efforts by helping guide staff on workflow processes
Communicate regularly with the VP of Operations and relay updates from the production floor
Verify Work Order accuracy and completeness before jobs move through production and prior to shipment

Understanding of production workflows and ability to support process improvements
Basic knowledge of Cal OSHA compliance, industrial safety, and MSDS
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn new technologies and processes
Ability to document issues and support continuous improvement efforts
Working knowledge of computer and printing terminology
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Production Management, Print Management, or related field preferred
2–4 years experience in the graphics or production industry preferred
Experience supporting production environments or coordination roles
Technical training or equivalent experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Safety Requirements:
Ability to stand throughout shift and lift up to 50 pounds without strain
OSHA forklift certification preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Production Management, Print Management, or related field preferred
2–4 years experience in the graphics or production industry preferred
Experience supporting production environments or coordination roles
Technical training or equivalent experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Safety Requirements:
