Essential Duties | What You’ll Do
During the week work in a warehouse environment performing a variety of tasks to aid the daily operations. The duties can include but are not limited to moving, storing and preparing decor in support of the weekend events
On Saturdays you will work onsite at hotels, golf courses, tents... installing and dismantling event decor
Load and unload event décor onto trucks for delivery to clients, venues and to return products to the warehouse
Pack and unpack event décor including drapery, chandeliers, dance floors, staging and lighting
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
Must be available to work weekends
Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and reach during entire work shift
Able to stand and/or walk 100% of the work shift
Ability to work with hands and arms during entire shift
Must be able to move and climb ladders WITHOUT accommodation or assistance
Ability to work in high lift
Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull 30-40 lbs. throughout the shift. Occasionally may move up to and over 100 lbs. with assistance
Ability to handle fragile items safely
Must be able to tolerate cold, heat and humid conditions
Interpret design plans, technical plots, and client requests to compile accurate equipment lists.
Work in Flex Rental Solutions inventory software to manage equipment logistics.
Ensure availability and proper allocation of gear, including lighting, draping, chandeliers, vinyl, and other décor elements.
Collaborate with the operations manager to ensure all technical needs are met.
Identify and address inventory shortages, recommending alternative solutions if needed.
Test design ideas and setups installations to confirm feasibility, functionality, and visual appeal before implementation.
Print event paperwork and ensure all necessary documentation is available.
Archive event paperwork after the event for record-keeping and future reference.
Manage Google Drive folders
Experience in event production, AV, or equipment rental coordination - is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in Flex Rental Solutions (or similar software) - is preferred but not required.
Understanding of lighting, staging, draping, and event décor equipment.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
