General Description Creates schedules based on shop load, period of performance, and lead times per make and buy items

Duties - Review routers prior to release

- Review BOMs as needed to help ensure accuracy

- Prints and distributes manufacturing data packages for assigned projects on scheduled plan release dates

- Attends material review board meetings and help determine root cause and help determine method for correcting nonconformance

- Coordinate with Program Managers and Manufacturing Engineers in implementing engineering changes

- Monitor the execution of the production plan and escalate potential issues in a timely manner

- Create and print vendor consignment notice and coordinates outside processing

- Work closely and maintain professional relationships with all members of the manufacturing team

- Expedite material from building to building "as required" to assist with production flow

- Helps develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality

- Maintain schedules and priorities of assigned projects to ensure on-time delivery

- Helps interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations

- Assist Planning department with day to day operations

- Other Duties as assigned Education/Experience requirements - Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience may be substituted for degree

- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems

Cost Point 7 experience is a plus

- Requires a minimum of six (6) years of production experience

- Must be able to review and understand production routers/BOMS prior to release

- Must have experience in creating and working with Bills of Material and government drawings

- Ability to communicate well with co-workers and management

- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include excel, word, and outlook

- General Computer Skills required

- Able to multi-task; to include forecasting and effectively communication with a wide-variety of work disciplines to provide up-to-date technical information on queries associated with assigned projects
