A New York City based global apparel licensing company is looking to grow their Production team and are seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join a dynamic team within the retail industry. This role involves overseeing end to end production processes, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Description
- Coordinate and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation for tracking purposes.
- Maintain order sheets and WIP trackers, monitoring all details (fabric, trims, samples, lead times).
- Communicate regularly with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely material delivery.
- Liaise directly with international factory partners on a daily basis.
- Identify and address potential production issues to minimize delays.
- Ensure all production processes adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Provide regular updates to management on production progress and challenges.
Profile
A successful Production Coordinator should have:
- A strong understanding of production processes and operations in the retail industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Apparel Production, or equivalent industry experience.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong knowledge of apparel production/manufacturing processes and capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse teams internally, externally and internationally.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
- An eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.
Job Offer
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $63,000 to $70,000 dependent on experience.
