PRIMARY ROLE: Managed daily manufacturing schedules across multiple residential door fabrication departments at the Rocky Mount, NC facility.
JOB EXPECTATIONS:
- Drive maximum production efficiency within capacity constraints by aligning scheduling, operations, and order priorities.
- Streamline communication between production and sales teams to resolve exceptions and ensure order accuracy.
- Forecast and manage departmental lead times to consistently meet delivery commitments.
- Coordinate high-volume, long-lead project orders from planning through final production.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Utilize foundational knowledge in business, manufacturing, and construction environments, with working familiarity in millwork and residential door production.
- Apply experience in building products sales and operations to support production planning and customer requirements.
- Leverage ERP systems and Excel to track, measure, and report key performance metrics, while continuously developing system expertise.
- Communicate effectively with operations teams, sales associates, and customers to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and support order accuracy.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Operate primarily in an office environment with regular time spent on the production floor to monitor order progress and coordinate with manufacturing teams.
