Production Coordinator

What You’ll Do:
- Foster communication and coordinate labor, breaks, line coverage, and operator placement to maintain efficient production flow
- Monitor hourly performance, productivity, OEE, waste, and downtime while supporting corrective actions to meet production goals
- Inspect equipment before startup, monitor operations, and escalate mechanical issues to Maintenance
- Identify and resolve production issues while collaborating with Production, Maintenance, R&D, and other departments
- Train, coach, and support operators on standard work, changeovers, equipment operation, downtime reporting, and 5S procedures
- Lead shift huddles and provide direction to operators in the Production Supervisor’s absence
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while reporting safety incidents and personnel concerns
- Ensure GMP, SQF, quality, food safety, and customer requirements are met through inspections, testing, documentation, and daily compliance checks Report all safety incidents immediately to EHS personnel and the Production Manager
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and experience
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience, including 1+ year in a leadership role
- Strong math, communication, computer, and documentation skills
- Ability to understand and follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures
- Ability to learn and apply new processes, equipment, and technology in a fast-paced environment
- Experience developing SOPs and training materials and coaching and mentoring employees
- Ability to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Reliable and adaptable with availability for varying shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays; able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
