    Phenix Trucks & Van, a leader in the automotive truck manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Departmental Production Supervisor to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective production of our high-quality truck bodies and components.

    Reports to: Production Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Production Oversight: Supervise and coordinate all activities within the production department. Ensure timely completion of manufacturing processes with a keen focus on quality standards.
    2. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production workers. Conduct performance reviews, provide training and development, and manage workforce planning.
    3. Quality Assurance: Uphold high-quality standards by overseeing production processes, conducting regular quality checks, and collaborating with the quality assurance team.
    4. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and work collaboratively with the engineering and management teams to implement effective solutions.
    5. Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing all safety regulations and conducting regular safety training and audits.
    6. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate supply of materials and components for uninterrupted production.
    7. Production Scheduling: Coordinate with the planning team to develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring optimal productivity and meeting customer deadlines.
    8. Problem Solving: Address and resolve production issues swiftly, minimizing downtime and maintaining production flow.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality assurance processes.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with manufacturing management software.
