The Production Drafter role is a full-time, office-based position in Phoenix, AZ, offering an estimated salary of $60K-$70K+ based on experience, along with benefits such as health insurance, 401K, and PTO/Holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for manufacturing based on designs and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to incorporate changes and ensure drawings meet production needs.
- Create layouts using CAD and BIM software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit, including dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions.
- Verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Calculate material and equipment requirements to support efficient production.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
- Assist in site assessments or project reviews as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or certification in drafting or engineering technology.
- Proficiency in CAD and BIM software.
- 2-5 years of drafting experience, preferably in manufacturing or production.
- Strong attention to detail, technical understanding, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and building codes.
