RUN Studios, in partnership with one of our leading corporate clients, is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join our creator space production team in Culver City, CA for a 12-month project. This is an exciting opportunity for a broadcast systems engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, optimizing production environments, and building scalable infrastructure that powers a wide range of live and recorded productions.
The Production Engineer is responsible for assessing, maintaining, and improving the almost 30,000 square foot creator space broadcast engineering ecosystem. Working closely with production, engineering, and technical operations teams, this role will focus on strengthening the reliability, scalability, and documentation of the studio's sophisticated broadcast infrastructure. The ideal candidate combines deep broadcast engineering expertise with strong networking knowledge and enjoys balancing hands-on implementation with long-term systems planning.
This role will begin with a comprehensive assessment of the existing studio environment before leading engineering improvements that enhance production reliability, modernize workflows, and support future growth across our global production operations.

Physical Demands
Ability to work for sustained periods in studio, control room, and technical equipment environments
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting engineering systems.
Ability to safely lift and move production or networking equipment weighing up to approximately 40 pounds, with assistance as needed.
Ability to install, cable, rack, and configure broadcast and networking equipment.
Ability to use computers, engineering software, hand tools, and technical equipment for extended periods.
Visual acuity sufficient to monitor multiple displays, routing systems, network interfaces, and engineering dashboards.
Ability to respond effectively during time-sensitive production and engineering situations.
Occasional flexibility in work hours may be required to support production schedules or engineering implementation windows
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily onsite in Culver City, CA.
The role supports a highly collaborative engineering and production environment servicing live and recorded productions.
Regular interaction with production, engineering, operations, and technical teams is required.
The studio environment includes broadcast equipment, networking infrastructure, control rooms, production spaces, and technical support areas.
Some engineering work may occur during active productions or scheduled maintenance windows to minimize operational disruption.
Travel
Limited local travel between production spaces or facilities may be required.
Additional travel may be required based on project or production needs.

Compensation
Pay Range: $70.00 - $95.00 / hour
The successful candidate's pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
