Compensation: $110,000-131,250
About the Role
GreenValley Search is seeking a skilled production engineer on behalf of a global leader in chemical manufacturing. This is an opportunity to join a high-performance team at a modern chemical production facility.
You’ll be in the plant, owning key production processes, identifying bottlenecks, improving system efficiency, and driving technical excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to work cross-functionally, and brings a hands-on mindset to operational problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and improve daily production metrics
Troubleshoot plant operations and drive sustainable solutions
Lead safety initiatives and conduct behavior-based audits
Maintain compliance with ISO, PSM, and environmental standards
Develop and manage SOPs and operational documentation
Collaborate across production, maintenance, and engineering teams
Reduce waste, improve yields, and enhance on-stream time
Train and mentor hourly and salaried operations staff
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
3+ years of production or process engineering experience in chemical manufacturing
Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills
Familiarity with PSM, ISO9001, and Lean/5S methodologies
Bonus: experience with plant startups, powder or polymer processing, or site commissioning
