This role focuses on increasing efficiency, reducing defects, and ensuring production meets quality, safety, and delivery goals. You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze production processes and line layouts to identify bottlenecks and improve throughputPerform root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, FMEA) for defects and downtime issuesDevelop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructionsImplement and monitor process controls and SPC (Statistical Process Control)Support new product introductions (NPI) and product transfers into productionCollaborate with engineering teams on tooling, fixtures, and test equipmentAssist with automation improvements and manufacturing efficiency initiativesTrack and report key metrics such as OEE, yield, scrap, and downtimeProvide hands‑on technical support to production teams during escalationsTrain technicians and operators on engineering best practicesEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering , or related field (or equivalent experience)Required: Experience in electronics manufacturing environment (internship or hands‑on acceptable for entry‑level)Knowledge of process improvement and problem‑solving methodologiesExperience with data analysis tools (Excel required; Minitab/SPC tools a plus)Strong communication and teamwork skillsDetail‑oriented with a hands‑on approachComfortable working on the production floorMust live in the DFW area.
