Production Equipment Operator 

Full-Time

Job Summary

Operate, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment runs efficiently, product quality standards are met, and safety procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment.
  • Perform machine setups and product changeovers.
  • Load materials and keep production running smoothly.
  • Conduct quality checks and adjust equipment as needed.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor maintenance.
  • Complete production and quality documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety and food safety requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement and production efficiency efforts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of industrial production manufacturing, machine operation, or equipment maintenance experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience independently performing machine startups and changeovers.
  • Ability to identify equipment issues and support root cause problem-solving.
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing, packaging, food, or beverage production.
  • Experience training or mentoring other operators.
